The power of this new technology is its flexibility, simplicity and speed of processing. Large data sets can be searched very quickly for predefined patterns. By linking data from the connections, the production installations (solar panels, etc.), the data from the smart meters, measuring profiles, the government's basic register for addresses and buildings (BAG) and geographical information from the distribution network, quick and thorough (already than non-deliberate) energy theft.
